Velocity Micro adding LGA2011 to its lineup

After Cyberpower PC, Velocity Micro is now joining the party by adding Intel’s Sandy Bridge-E to its high-end PCs.
Now available on their Raptor system, the costumers will have the choice between the Core i7 3960X and the Core i7 3930K, coupled with an Asus X79 Pro motherboard and up to 32GB of memory.
As the company’s CEO and President Randy Copeland said, with Velocity Micro being on the “bleeding edge of technology”, it seemed only right for them to add the latest line of Extreme CPUs to clearly show themselves as the premier builder of ultra performance PCs.
Obviously, a high-end build comes with its own price, at which the Raptor Z90 starts off with $2799, and that’s only the beginning, the better you get it, the more you pay, but being Velocity Micro, I suppose that the saying “you get what you pay for” is in order.
