BBK is a Chinese company that made itself known by producing thin terminals, having a 5.75 mm model in its portofolio. Recently, a model from its smartphone brand Vivo was rumored to be released with a Nikon camera. Well, here are images of the device itself.
Notice from the images that it has a Nikin rotating camera with LED dual-flash, and the camera casing is mounted on the top of the handset. In this case we are dealing with a CMOS camera having a 1/1.7 inch diameter. It takes photos ar a whopping 20-megapixels resolution with the help of the F2.0 lens. We are told that Nikon will provide a SRL chip “EXPEED E1-158 1051 200 M” for this device.
It is very likely that this handset will only be available in China, but it is a good start for the cameraphone evolution line, which tend to make themselves known by their thickness or sacrifices made for big sensors. Let’s just hope that the camera rotating mechanism won’t break too easily.
