Here’s another partner launching its own version of AMD’s Radeon HD 7800 series, VTX3D presents its two models for hardcore gamers, the VTX3D HD 7870 GHz Edition and the HD 7850.
Based on the 28nm processors from AMD, both models come with 2GB of GDDR5 memory over a 256-bit wide interface. The HD 7870 GHz Edition features a clock speed of 1000MHz while the HD 7850 is clocked at 860MHz, both with a memory speed of 1200MHz (4.8Gbps).
Aside from the specifications come the features, the new HD 7000 series bringing all the latest PCI Express 3.0 platform and advanced DirectX○R 11.1 as well as CrossFire and Eyefinity. All these technologies make the VTX3D HD7800 series as a perfect choice for PC enthusiasts while gamers can also enjoy the exceptional performance scaling with a second GPU through CrossFire.
With AMD Eyefinity, not only are you able to run multiple displays simultaneously from a single graphics card, but also stream audio independently on different screens. The new models are also capable of integrated HDMI 1.4a with support for 3D-Strereoscopic format. The display outputs found on the cards includes Dual Link DVI-I, HDMI and two Mini DisplayPort.
AMD’s PowerTune technology support can maximize performances normally restrained by the TDP by enabling higher GPU clock speeds while minimizing power during light workload through a reduction in voltages, engine and memory clock speeds.
