VTX3D Radeon HD 6850 X-Edition Graphics Card Review

Mafia II is an older game and therefore it does have older graphics engines, however this is is still a good all-round in game benchmark that combines the terrain and explosion rendering of Crysis with the dust and dirt particle rendering test of Dirt 2. It also takes into account the changing light conditions albeit not in quite the same detail as the others, but none-the-less still proves a cards capabilities on slightly older games.
Within Mafia II, the frame-rates at both 1680×1050 and 1920×1080 were above the golden 30FPS playable boundary, though Eyefinity saw a drop to 15.50 FPS. We do have the ability to tweak the settings and turn AA etc… off which will assist in gaining FPS and shouldn’t hinder the quality of what you see due to the extreme resolution making up for it.
