Vuzix is a company that is working on the future so to speak, because they keep working on glasses integrated with electronics, and recently, they’ve come up with an incredible hardware: the Wrap 1200.
Although they seem like a regular pair of sport glasses, these have an incredible feature: they offer a view similar to that of a 75-inch screen as if you were standing 3 meters (10 feet) away from it.
The Wrap 1200 is compatible with a multitude of hardware such as gaming consoles, multimedia players, smartphones, monitors and more thanks to all the cables included.
Capable of both ratios 16:9 and 4:3 as well as 2D and 3D reproduction, the particularity that I find most interesting about these is that each of the lenses can be set independently to adapt to the wearers view, which means that no glasses are needed, a great news for us glasses-wearer.
Although these seem to be the ideal tool for road use, they still have a major drawback, which is the price as these will cost you $500. Still cheaper than a 75-inch screen, but as you will notice, there are quite a few differences as well.
