I’m sure that nobody’s really surprised by this, but Warner has decided to postpone the release of Batman: Arkham Knight DLC for the PC version until the game runs properly on this very important platform. It makes sense for Warner to make this decision, especially since the game is not even being sold on the PC right now. The first DLC pack for Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to come out for the PS4 and Xbox One today, July 14. It is named The Batgirl: A Matter of Family, and its story takes place before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum. As its name suggests, the DLC will allow players to take control of Batgirl for the first time in this particular game.
Even though PC gamers were treated poorly with the unpolished release of Arkham Knight, there is hope that Warner will do a better job in the future. The company’s representatives stated that they plan to modify the internal review process for all of their games.
“We can also assure you that because of this latest launch, we are modifying the internal review process for all of our games. For those who are waiting for the updated version of the game on PC, please know that we are working on this every day. For the players who are continuing to play Batman: Arkham Knight on PC, fixes are continually being made to the game as we await the final updated version.”
