YouTube turns 10 this month and to celebrate that, popular channel The Daily Conversation has released an incredible compilation of some of YouTube’s greatest hits. Right from that very first ‘Day at the Zoo’ to ‘Charlie Bit my Finger’, we get a look back at the hilarity YouTube has brought us over the past 10 crazy years.
It’s almost hard to believe it, but YouTube started way back in 2005 as one of the then new streaming video sites. Since then it’s been acquired by Google and has skyrocketed to become an international cultural institution. Billions of views are made each and every day, with millions of new videos, sharing knowledge, humour, news and music.
So, let’s sit back and enjoy the first 10 years of the cultural powerhouse that has become YouTube. Here’s to the next 10.
