Watch Dogs Legion has undoubtedly proven to be a popular release since it came out in October last year. That being said, many players have long since beaten the main game and are now eagerly anticipating the launch of the online multiplayer version. Well, if you were hoping to try this out on PC, then we have some bad news for you. Following a report via Eurogamer, Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC online update has been delayed.
With the update set to be released on March 9th, Ubisoft has confirmed that it is having some rather bothersome versions with the PC release. Specifically, they are finding that certain graphics cards are causing the game to crash. As such, they have entirely wisely decided to push the PC versions online update back.
On the plus side, however, it would appear that the console release is still entirely on track for its scheduled launch.
Overall, if there are known crash bugs in the update, it seems to have been the smart decision to push the online release back. If anything, you have to actually credit Ubisoft (a developer with, shall we diplomatically say, not the best reputation with the community). When will it actually be released? Ubisoft is somewhat vague but says it will happen “as soon as possible”.
