Microsoft is set to make a major announcement at E3 2017 on June 11. It is so big that Microsoft actually wants everyone to know that the event will run longer than their standard 90 minute runtime. What exactly are they announcing that it will take that much? Virtual Reality? Mixed Reality Headset platform? Believe it or not, Microsoft already confirmed that they will not be talking about that topic at all. What is definitely know is that it will be very Xbox related as that is the hashtag they have been using on social media leading up to the event.
Xbox Teaser Videos Leaked Early
Microsoft has also been teasing bits and pieces leading up to the event. There are also strong hints that Project Scorpio will be called Xbox One 10S. Whether or not it will resemble the dev kit is another matter. In terms of expectations, many are expecting actual 4K gaming capabilities, putting it above the PS4 Pro. Full backwards compatibility would be a lovely feature as well.
