The trailer for quite possibly the biggest blockbuster film in history is finally here. It arrives in 2018, 10 years after Marvel first started their “phase one” plan with Iron Man. The company meticulously plotted every single Marvel movie after which all culminates to this two-part epic movie event. The early version of this trailer was only originally shown to a select few fans at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. However, this is actually a new trailer, only using some of the footage shown there.
Just like previous Avengers films, each character introduced in the shared universe so far is going to make an appearance. Since Thanos is an otherworldly cosmic villain, even the Guardians of the Galaxy are involved. Spider-man will also be back, as well as the Black Panther who has his own movie coming out soon. In fact, it looks like the battle in the Avengers: Infinity War trailer is happening in Black Panther’s Wakanda. Although the Infinity War story itself takes place immediately after the events of Thor: Ragnarok. So it is advisable to watch that movie first.
Infinity War is not arriving until May 4, 2018 in the US. UK fans actually get to see it earlier on April 27, 2018. So those who are unfamiliar or have blank spots in their Marvel movie watch list still have time to watch them all before hitting the theaters. This is only the first part of the Infinity War, the second part will premiere on 2019.
