Western Digital Launches WD_BLACK SN770M SSD

Today Western Digital has launched its new WD_BLACK SN770M SSD which is designed with an M.2 2230 form factor making it ideal for handheld gaming consoles.

The WD_BLACK SN770M is an M.2 2230 SSD which allows users to expand their handheld console storage capacity by up to 2TB. The drive makes use of TLC 3D NAND and offers Gen 4 speeds of up to 5,150 MB/s for quick game installations and fast loading times. This drive also makes use of Western Digitals nCache 4.0 technology and provides Microsoft DirectStorage support. The SSD is available in capacities of 500GB, 1TB and 2TB and is an excellent partner to handhelds such as the ASUS ROG ALLY.
