Western Digital Reveals WD Blue SN580 Gen 4 NVMe SSD

Western Digital has today revealed its new WD Blue SN580 Gen 4 NVMe SSD expanding upon its award-winning SSD portfolio.

The new WD Blue SN580 is an M.2 SSD designed for consumers, students and professionals providing a fast and reliable tool to keep their equipment running. It uses a DRAM-less design to conserve power making it a good option for laptop storage. The SN580 is capable of speeds of up to 4150MB/s read and write plus comes in capacities from 250GB to 2TB which I’m surprised to still see 250GB storage being made.
