When it comes to bad ideas, people have a lot of them. It is said that just because you can do something, it doesn’t mean you should, a prime example of this is the chainsaw mounted drone, something which is titled KILLERDRONE and is advertised for foresters. Obviously in the right hands, these new creations could be useful and help but all it takes is one person to make a mistake to create fear and terror about how the technology could be used. This may also be true of the Laser bazooka, hundreds of times stronger than you the FDA’s limit on laser strength.
A typical laser has a strength of around 0.005 watts, withFDA limits maxing out the strength at 100 times that (0.5 watts). The laser bazooka comes in at 400 times that legal limit at 200W and you can see just how strong that means.
While more powerful lasers no doubt exist, this is the most powerful laser (known to us) outside of industry or military control. If you’re doubting the power before the device, the laser is capable of burning wood, ignite gunpowder and burn through a computer case. The device’s open case design brings a rustic fallout feeling to it, while the design and shape at the front makes me think of a Wookie bow caster.
