Wildlands Update Brings Quad-Core and Multi-GPU Performance Improvements

Have you been enjoying Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands over the last few days? I know we have, and as much as we love it, it’s freaking tough to get great performance from this graphical behemoth. Thankfully, a new update looks to improve performance for a broad range of systems, as the developers have released a patch that improves quad-core CPU performance, which is awesome, and if that wasn’t good enough, support for multiple GPUs has been enhanced too!

CPU and GPU performance improvements are always welcome, but you’ll now also find Ansel support, improvements to Steam Controller support, improved UI navigation and more!

Check out the full changelog for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands Patch 1.1.5:

  • Multi-GPU improved support
We have been working with our partners to improve both SLI and Crossfire support. Various stuttering and graphical corruption issues have now been fixed.
  • Quad-core CPUs improved support
Several freezes and performance issues have been resolved for players using quad-core CPUs, notably Intel i5 based setups.
  • AMD graphic cards improved performances
  • Enhanced mouse navigation in store menu
