Ultra-Rare Signature Series Case from In Win
In Win is launching a new addition to their Signature Series of high-end cases. They are calling this new one the ‘Z-Tower’ and it features a unique twisting exoskeletal architectural design. It is undoubtedly a work of art and its unique shape even required the use of non-traditional chassis-making methods.
The Z-Tower’s 5cm thick aluminium alloy body was cast from sculpted wooden molds and sand casting process. After which, it is refined and polished meticulously with a CNC mill. Obviously, this much aluminium on a chassis is quite heavy. In fact, it has a net weight of 42kg just for an empty chassis alone.
The Z-tower’s design is not simply made for aesthetic reasons. Its twisting and semi open-air frame also allows for airflow to channel through the components inside.
Measuring 740 x 400 x 740mm the chassis supports up to E-ATX sized motherboards. Furthermore, users can install video cards up to 340mm in length as well as CPU coolers up to 170mm tall. Even a custom loop with a 360mm radiator fits inside.
How Much is the In Win Z-Tower Chassis?
Like other cases from In Win’s signature series, the Z-tower chassis costs much more than other cases in the market. In fact, it has an MSRP of around 10,000 EUR according to Modding.fr.
Each unit is an ultra-rare piece and will come with a limited edition number engraving plate.
