Microsoft has introduced a major new feature to file explorer in the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 23434 which brings a photo gallery to Explorer.
This latest addition to the Insider Preview for Windows 11 introduces a photo gallery feature to file explorer which is designed to make it easy to access your photo collection. The gallery utilises the same layout as what you would see in ‘all photos’ view in the photos app. The gallery is optimized for accessing your most recently taken photos including those from your phone through OneDrive camera roll backup. File Explorer also allows you to add subfolders to filter and sort your photos.
Alongside the keynote feature of this build are several other changes and improvements to the Windows 11 operating system.
The gallery is a nice addition for the file explorer and the other changes, well they aren’t too interesting. You can read the full blogpost from Microsoft here.
