Launched on March 1st, the Consumer Preview of Windows 8 was rather successful, to be more precise about its initial success, how about one million downloads?
In 24 hours, the Consumer preview has been downloaded over a million times, and now being almost 48 hours later, the counter is still counting. With no real issues reported, the server seemed to have handled all this load rather well.
The news itself was announced by BuildingWindows8 on Twitter, stating “One day later… one million downloads of the consumer preview.”
If you haven’t downloaded your own version yet, you can get it here.
