Microsoft’s next-generation Metro-infused operating system has been teased for quite a while now, with the Consumer Preview now available. You can download it and install it on your machine without much hassle at all, with the ability to pause and resume the download directly from the app itself, which is great.
You can grab it here.
If you’re an AMD Radeon owner, you might want to grab the latest AMD Catalyst driver for the Windows 8 Consumer Preview. The driver supports all GPUs up to the HD 6000-series, but does not work with any GCN/HD 7000-series GPUs. The drivers sport support for most AMD technologies, including Eyefinity and CrossFire.
You can grab those drivers here.
