World Of Warcraft Classic Demo Cracked A Week Before Launch

World Of Warcraft Classic Demo Cracked A Week Before Launch

A little over a year ago Blizzard announced something that many fans had long been calling for. A World of Warcraft Classic version was in development. This would essentially take the popular MMORPG franchise back to its roots with a release set in the original game without any of the subsequent updates and expansions.

While many fans have enjoyed the expansion packs, WoW has clearly seen a large number of users abandon the game. Many went to what was known as ‘Vanilla’ private servers where users could play the original game and better still, free of charge.

With the official demo of the ‘Classic’ game not set to release for another week though, a user has been able to successfully access the ‘launch client’ to the game. Even more so, they have been able to actually get it running and do a direct comparison video!

WOW!

YouTube user, Dodgy Kebaab, managed to get a hold of the demo client, which as above isn’t strictly released yet for another week. From there, using a sandbox style hack, they were able to successfully access the game and check it out. Now, if you’re expecting to see much in the video, you’re probably going to be disappointed. Despite that though, it does at least give us an early window into exactly how it will be.

For those of you who are now desperately searching for how to access this yourself. The chances are you’ll be out of luck. Blizzard will undoubtedly be keen to shut this door as quickly as they can.

The good news is though that if you can’t wait, the official demo is released on November 2nd.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to World of Warcraft Classic? – Let us know in the comments!
