Star Citizens’ new bundle raises the question of how much are you willing to spend on one game on a bundle of virtual goodies. The new bundle, the Legatus 2954 pack, will let players get every single ship in the game for a whopping $48,000 or £41,000, but honestly, does ANYONE need this?
The bundle will give you all 160 ships currently in the game and around 20 that are still in development. All come with lifetime insurance so even if your ships get blown to smithereens you’ll get the original back in perfect condition. To be fair you expect that for the price tag of the bundle carries just imagine if 15 minutes after you buy it your £2000 new warship gets blown up by some troll.
Obviously, this bundle isn’t meant for everyone because many people don’t have 40 thousand sitting around and if they did most would spend it on a downpayment on a house, sending their kids to college, a car or literally anything else. This also brings into question if the bundle is even worth getting, realistically you can only use one or two ships at a time so why use more than the best ships in the bundle?
