Those of you awaiting for EA’s latest sci-fi FPS title, Titanfall, and still play on the older Xbox 360 might be a bit disappointed, since the publisher decided to delay the title for that particular console. The Xbox One and PC versions are said to be released as previously announced though (for now).
The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall has been pushed back to March 25th. It’s worth mentioning that the Xbox One and PC versions are being ‘polished’ by Respawn Entertainment, while the Xbox 360 is being handled by Bluepoint Games. Electronic Arts’ Executive VP, Patrick Söderlund, stated that Bluepoint needed more time to ‘put the finishing touches on the game’ for that particular platform.
“To give them (Bluepoint) the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe. The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience,” he said.
While the first public beta is set for February the 14th, the Xbox One and PC title will launch on March 11th in North America and March 13th in Europe.
