Microsoft this week added more games to its growing list of Xbox backwards compatible games. These new additions will be the last added to the list in 2016, with Microsoft set to carry on the work sometime in 2017.
Whilst the list of new additions is somewhat, lacklustre, one title to grab at least some attention is Bully: Scholarship Edition. Here is the list of recently added titles;
You may be wondering why Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are appearing on the list, considering they were added to the catalogue earlier this year. This is because these games previously were only available to those who actually had the discs for them, why this was the case is still unclear, but it seems Microsoft have fixed the issue and made them fully available to everyone.
One thing to point out, is that one of these games is actually free up until 31st December 2016. You can pick up Lost Odyssey for absolutely nothing, so if you like RPG’s, this might be worth picking up and trying out.
Without going into too much detail about Bully, it is safe to say it was somewhat controversial at the time of its release, however, Rockstar has never really worried about causing a stir now and again.
It’s not surprising Bully has made it onto the backward compatibility catalogue now, with the recent launch of Bully: Anniversary Edition on iOS and Android, it could be assumed it was a planned launch and not a coincidence. The app will have raised publicity and interest, which of course will increase the likelihood that people will buy it.
