Xbox February Update Brings Cloud Gaming Invitations, New Games, and Controller Firmware
Microsoft is currently rolling out the February update for Xbox, with a focus on several new features related to cloud gaming. The update also adds more games and features to the service, which is still in beta.
Most of the changes are not related to the console itself but instead focus on Xbox services. Starting today, users can send invitations to join cloud gaming sessions even when using the service through web browsers and supported TVs. This is done by creating a link that allows users to join the game directly.
For more information on how to send and accept invitations, you can visit this link on Xbox Wire. The option should be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers in the coming hours.
New Games Added to Cloud Gaming Outside of Game Pass

In addition to the update, Microsoft has expanded the library of games that can be played directly through Xbox Cloud Gaming. These games are part of the Xbox library but not available in Game Pass, continuing an initiative that started a few months ago.
Here are the new games added with today’s update:
- Blasphemous 2
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
- Slime Rancher 2
- Subnautica
- Subnautica: Below Zero
- The Talos Principle 2
- Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered
Additionally, the update also emphasizes Microsoft’s commitment to the development of generative AI for game creation. Lastly, a new firmware update for the Xbox controller has been released.
