It has taken Microsoft a while to get their Games with Gold promotion up to a standard that can rival the PlayStation Plus offerings from Sony, but they’re certainly starting to provide gamers with some quality content. In January, anyone with a Gold Xbox Live subscription can claim three free games, so long as you download the games within the given period (see below), you own them for free forever.
Coming to Xbox One is D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die, which normally sells for $14.99, this game will be available from the 1st to the 31st of January. The Xbox 360 will get two games, the first is MX vs. ATV Alive which is worth $19.99 and will need to be downloaded between the 1st and 15th of January. Finally we have the best of the bunch, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, which sells for $29.99, but it’s yours free of charge if you download it between the 16th and the 31st of January.
