There are many games which claim to be “game of the year” or even claim to be unique. Borderlands is one that can claim both these titles with ease. With Gearbox’s popular first person shooter game built for the previous generation only PC gamers have been able to enjoy the series in its entirety without switching consoles. Come November that is set to change with the introduction of backwards compatibility to the Xbox One.
Borderlands has officially been announced as joining the roster of games that people can enjoy and play in November when 360 games will become playable on the Xbox One.
Not only does the core game gain support but also the DLC’s that include such great areas as The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, The Underdome Riot led by Mad Moxxi and even the Claptrap Robot Revolution. The game will support Xbox live, so be it on 360 or Xbox One, you and your friends can get back to freeing Pandora. Alongside the Xbox One playable version you will also be able to carry over your achievements and your save game files, meaning that bit you were stuck waiting for your friend to log in for, can now be completed with friends from all over the world.
I don’t know about you, but more Borderlands can never be bad news, I am currently dusting off my copy of Borderlands 2 and will see you all on Pandora.
Thank you Xbox news for the information.
