Xebec Tech Itouchpad Diamond Wireless Keyboard with Track Pad Review

There are lots of things we have picked up on the page before that work brilliantly, and in fact there isn’t much we didn’t like about the Xebec Itouchpad Diamond Wireless Keyboard. While this is certainly not the best keyboard out there, it doesn’t profess to be, and it certainly does exactly what Xebec say it does.
In terms of design, we didn’t desperately like the two buttons of the trackpad as they weren’t nice to use, but this didn’t cause any real problems. That said, the battery life is impressive and you could go weeks without having to recharge the batteries especially if you are using this device with a HTPC or server. The colour options are the black that we had, a silver, or a white and it did take us a while to decide which one we’d prefer to test as they all certainly look good, and all would look brilliant next to a large TV. That said, it might’ve been nice if they had created a small stand for this device, so that it can stand up right and take up less space as well as showing the keyboard off a bit more.
Xebec, with the exception of a stand for this device, have included everything you need to use this device, which is quite frankly not much. It would have also been nice if they had produced a small case for this device, to protect the lovely shiny finish of the keyboard.
In terms of price this device can be purchased at a very reasonable £32.87 from Scan.co.uk which is a very good price even when compared to a wireless keyboard although this Xebec device is in a different league to your standard wireless keyboard as it has a trackpad and is designed for use with a HTPC.
While this Xebec tech itouchpad diamond wireless keyboard can’t compete with the likes of a Logitech Wireless keyboard, it was never meant to and for that reason we can’t compare the two. This device, looks good, and clearly performs well when used for its designed purpose, which is of course with a HTPC system or in a presentation environment, and then in this case it performs excellently. The range of the device is plenty good enough, and the battery life is not going to be a problem to anyone. Xebec did however miss a few tricks when they didn’t include Media buttons or a stand, but overall this keyboard and trackpad has a lot of functionality and will look good in lots of lounges/ front rooms across the country. A perfect device to complement your HTPC and expensive TV.
