XFX DD R9 380X 4GB Graphics Card Review

A Closer Look
Now that’s an interesting change for XFX. What looks to be two separate fan holders and a slightly circuit board style with the raised lines going to the outer screws.
The back of the card is as you would expect from a low-end unit, no back plate, but a nice black PCB to make up for that.
I have a thing against end mounted power connectors, especially if they clip in this way; I can never get them off because my fingers are too big.
Oh, I wasn’t expecting this when I picked it up. I didn’t even realise this card did this until I held it up and the one fan snapped out. Nice touch to cleaning the fans, although the cable could be longer.
It seems that this card features a fully modular cooling shroud, 8 simple screws and you can take the unit apart to clean. This card features two CoolerMaster fans which are a common component featured on the XFX DD cards.
Considering the price point, this card features the more common connections such as DP, HDMI and dual DVI.
