Power Supply Unit
XFX’s PRO 1250W BE power supply is fairly beastly in size, measuring in at 19.5 cm or 7.7 inches long. The power supply can be mounted facing either fan down or up. It features a fully modular design meaning you can choose every single cable and it also comes with a switch to enable or disable the hybrid fan mode. The design retains the usual styling of the XFX PRO series range and the two silver accents on either side give the design a nice bit of flair.
Cabling
This PSU has four way GPU support with 8 PCIe 6+2 pin connectors spread across four cables as well as two CPU 8 pins and a motherboard 24 pin. It is worth noting that due to the physical limitations of the number of modular connectors on the PSU you cannot use all four PCIe cables and both CPU cables at the same time, you must choose between either 1 CPU cable and four PCIe cables or 2 CPU cables and three PCIe cables.
In terms of peripheral connectors you get 11 SATA spread across 4 cables, 8 molex spread across three cables and two FDD connectors provided by an adapter cable.
