A Closer Look – Exterior
Power Supply Unit
The unit itself has a fairly rugged industrial style design with the large fan, widely spaced fan grille and the XFX logo at the centre.
Around the front we see the modular connectors for the modular cables, we can also see the hard-wired section next to that.
Both sides have the same pattern but in reverse to account for the two different ways you might want to mount it.
The bottom features the label that has the amps and watts structure for each of the rails.
Around the back we find mainly hexagonal mesh along with a kettle lead input, power switch and XFX logo.
Cabling
Hard wired to the unit is a motherboard 24 pin, CPU 4+4 pin and dual 6+2 pin PCIe connectors.
For modular cables you get two more 6+2 pins on one cable, two molex on one cable, four SATA on one cable, three molex on one cable, two SATA on one cable, another two SATA on one cable and a molex to FDD adapter cable.
