XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB Single Slot Graphics Card Video Review

This card is based on the top selling Radeon 5770 that we all know and love, but now features a single slot cooler. This gives the user better overall cooling when using multiple graphics cards in a CrossFire configuration. It has all of the features that the 5xxx series have to offer including full DirectX 11 support, AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing (formally ATI Stream Technology) and AMD Eyefinity.

Due to it being made by XFX, a leading manufacturer of graphics cards, you can be rest assured that the build quality is second to none and that there will always be top notch customer support for you IF the card goes wrong.

If you want the best bang for buck, and price for performance is something that you take into consideration, you won’t get a much better deal than the XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB single slot graphics card.

  1. Why aren't graphics cards slim like this anymore? It looks like they're getting a lot bigger. Is it because of the heating or the slots? o.0

Is because of the heatwell 40nm is still hot, remember 55nm like 8800 gt? those were running really hot :p

  3. So the next 32 or whatever should be more cooler. That means they won`t need the extra slot cooling. I too would love to see 1 slot cards. But i don`t think we`ll see that anymore. Only limited editions.

32nm should be cooler as it should bring the wattages down meaning less heat and less power too which should be interesting to see.
