XFX often produce fairly solid graphics cards that come with clean and pleasant designs as far back as the Radeon HD 7000 series. Today the company’s AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT options have been revealed with a total of three models.
The first of XFX’s new cards (via VideoCardz) is the RX 7800XT MERC 319 which is the top spec option from XFX. This card offers a streamlined black triple 13-blade fan design with a smaller central fan as opposed to the two outer fans. Alongside the black is a silver accent and a very thick ridged backplate which may divide opinions on its looks. Whilst the clock speeds of this card haven’t been shared, the features that separate it from the QICK series have been which include a Dual BIOS switch, 14 Phase Power Design and the full suite of features.
Alongside the MERC is the QICK series which is more targeted at the average PC gamer with less bells and whistles as the MERC series. This card is available for both the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT and features a similar triple 13-blade fan design however is much smoother in design and opts entirely for black rather than black with silver accents. Like the MERC, clock speeds have not been shared for this card however it does offer DUAL BIOS as well as a 14-phase power design to provide a solid experience for the average gamer.
These cards will be available from September 6th with the expectation of the QICK series to be at the respective 7800XT and 7700XT MSRPs $499 and $449 though the MERC card will likely land somewhere about the $499 MSRP.
