XFX TS650 650W Non-Modular Power Supply Review

A Closer Look – Interior

Like all XFX’s PSUs the TS 650 is based on a Seasonic platform, from what I can tell. The XFX TS 650 is based on the Seasonic S12G 650W power supply.

The XFX TS 650 makes use of an ADDA AD1212MB-A70GL fan; something we’ve seen on quite a few budget PSUs. This fan offers no fanless mode but uses a high quality bearing and can operate up to 2050RPM with temperature controlled speed.

The intake filtering offers six Y capacitors, two X capacitors and two filtering inductors.

The rest of the design is laden with high quality Nippon Chemi-Con and Rubycon capacitors all rated for 105 degrees celsius operation.
