Xiaomi Enters Europe and US Markets

Xiaomi, world’s third largest smart phone distributor which also sells mobile apps, and consumer electronics is entering a non-Asian market space. It is very popular smartphone brand in south Asia lately because of their offerings. They are going to open sales for residents in UK, France, Germany and US in 4 days on May 19th. They will be selling Mi products from their e-commerce website Mi.com. They are considering this one as a ‘Beta Test’  and are going to offer only Mi accessories (No Smartphones yet) in the sale which are 5000mAh and 10400mAh Mi power banks, Mi Band and Mi Headphones.

The sale will take place on May 19th at 1:00 pm CEST that is 12:00 PM UK Time sharp. Go ahead and create a new Mi account here and make sure to stay logged in at least 15-20 mins before the sale begins. There is going to high demand so keep you mouse and internet connection ready. They offer high-end flagship hardware devices for mid-end device price range. However, Xiaomi has not announced any plans to sell mobiles device via their website in the western market.

This step was expected for a quite a long time. Availability of mobile devices for sale isn’t very far.
