Xigmatek LOKI SD963 CPU Cooler Review

InstallationFitting the universal backplate to our LGA 1155 motherboard was straightforward.
Washers and threaded nuts are applied to the mounting screws to hold the backplate in position.
Once the AMD or Intel mounting clips are attached, 4 T-type nuts secure the heatsink in place.
Mounting the fan is fairly straightforward, fit the anti-vibrations rubbers then attach the fan to the heatsink using the pre-cut channels.
Once complete, the mount is sturdy and our Loki was secure in our test system. Thankfully, RAM interference wasn’t an issue using our MSI P67A-GD65 motherboard and Corsair Dominator memory. The Xigmatek SD963 Loki isn’t the best looking CPU cooler, but it definitely isn’t the worst air heatsink we have seen either.
Overall, installation was straightforward. The user’s guide contained well explained and thorough installation procedures as well as useful diagrams which were easily followed.
