Xigmatek Midgard II Mid-Tower PC Chassis Review

Today we’re taking a look at the Xigmatek Midgard II Mid-Tower PC Chassis, which is a low to mid budget gaming chassis that currently clocks in at around £60.00.

Xigmatek have manufacturing computer peripherals and pc chassis since 2005 and with 7 years experience and an already well established brand name and range of products under their belt I was keen to see what their team of around 20 R&D experts and engineers had come up with in this chassis for such a low price, or at least a low price given the number of features on offer.

In Xigmateks own words, taken from Xigmatek.com – “MIDGARD II: Want to Battle the best –MIDGARD II the only choice. Representing a shield wall for your hardware with its unbelievable Style. Features such as the elegant and stylish leather skin on the surface, three external 5.25” Drive Bays and a unique SLIM LINE ODD DRIVE Bay (WORLD EXCLUSIVE). Additional modular and tool free HDD / SSD Cage Design for up to 6 HDD’s or SSD’s, extra value with the space for up to 330mm VGA PCB’s. Equipped with the Super Speed USB 3.0, the standard I/O on the top and our unique and eXclusive HDD Docking Station for 3.5 and 2.5” HDD’S / SSD’S.”

Come an read the next few pages where we will be taking a closer look at these features before we fit it out with our test system and see how well the Midgard II holds up in our tests.
