XIGMATEK is a respected manufacturer of PC cases, cooling solutions, power supplies and much more. The company specialises in creating reliable products at very affordable prices which appeal to a large number of people. Recently, XIGMATEK unveiled the Talon-H full-tower chassis measuring 640 mm x 250 mm x 685 mm. The case is predominately constructed from SECC steel and ABS plastic which makes it fairly robust without costing a large sum of money. As expected, the case features a single compartment interior and supports HPTX, E-ATX, XL-ATX motherboards as well as smaller form-factor options.
On another note, the product has 10 expansion slots and there are two CPU cut-outs to easily install a workstation motherboard with two sockets. More specifically, any CPU cooler up to 200mm tall and add-on cards up to 400mm can be fitted. In terms of storage, the chassis incorporates four 5.25-inch bays and a whopping thirteen 3.5-inch/2.5-inch bays across three detachable drive cages.
Given the chassis’ large size, it’s easy to install a 360 mm x 120 mm or 280 mm x 140 mm radiator in the front; a 420 mm x 140 mm radiator on the top and 140mm fan in the rear. Front panel connectivity includes four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and front audio jacks. Unfortunately, XIGMATEK didn’t disclose any details regarding pricing but I’m expecting the case to be relatively affordable considering the specification and company history.
