XPG Invader X Mid-Tower PC Case Review

Building a PC inside this case could not have been easier. With the left side panel and the front panel glass lifted out of the way, it was incredibly easy to reach in and install hardware, deal with cable routing, and make sure everything looks its best.

Of course, we need some fans, and XPG sent over a set of their fantastic Vento R fans.

I chose to install the fans in the vertical section on the right.

The look absolutely amazing in there, lighting up the interior of the case beautifully. Of course, you could put radiators in here too, which is certainly a good idea if you’re running high-end hardware.

GPU support is great, with room for up to a 400mm GPU, pretty much any of the largest cards on the market should fit just fine.

The large air cooler I’ve used has no issues, and even something bigger like the Noctua D15 wouldn’t have any issues in here.

Cable routing is excellent, with lots of paths to chose from, you can keep cable runs nice and short.

Plus with the vertical GPU mounting, it hides a lot of various connectors and cables out of sight.

With all the panels back in place, this white case is going to be quite eye-catching, so it’s a good job the cable routing is tidy, as minor details will stand out quite a lot. The black version may help hide some things, but this white version hides nothing.

Overall, this is a pretty epic looking PC case, and while I prefer my builds more stealthy, I must admit, that for showing off your hardware, this is hard to beat.
