XPG Invader X Mid-Tower PC Case Review

XPG has an impressive variety of products, but honestly, one of their absolute best has to be their PC cases. While they’re not the biggest name for cases, often having their coolers, memory products, monitors, and PSUs take most of the glory, that is a real shame, as over the years they’ve made some truly spectacular PC cases. Of course, that trend looks set to continue today, as I have their new Invader X in for review, and it’s packed full of awesome features that are sure to appeal to the enthusiast PC gaming market.

The Invader X comes with a bezel-less tempered glass design, offering incredible views of the case interior to show off your hardware. Combine that with the option for both vertical and horizontal GPU mounting, room for up to a 400mm graphics card, 240mm PSU, and ATX motherboards with rear-mounted power connectors, so you could easily get a pretty epic PC in here. Cooling is great too, despite having glass on the front, as you have a full intake on the bottom, right side, and top of the case. There are four 120mm reverse blade fans pre-installed, and the case will support up to 10 fans in total, and a 360mm radiator on the side or top of the case, so you’re certainly not limited here.

Features

  • Panoramic View 3mm tempered glass panels to showcase internal RGB lighting effects.
  • Support for vertical or horizontal GPU installation up to 400mm in length.
  • Magnetic dust filters and removable PSU shroud for convenient cleaning and installation.
  • Supports cooling configurations with up to 10x 120mm fans and 360mm radiators on the side or
    top.
  • 4x 120mm pre-installed reverse blade fans plus an additional 1x 120mm regular fan for certain
    models.
  • Utilizes a newly designed cable management channel and comes pre-installed with 5 XPG cable
straps, leaving 36mm of space for easy installation of ATX / mATX motherboards and cable
    management.
  • Supports motherboards with connectors on the back, allowing for easier installation and cable
    management.

Specifications

Please note that while this case is available with pre-installed fans and the riser cable, our test sample was pre-release and this option wasn’t available to us, so XPG included some of the same fans in a separate retail pack.
