XPG Launches New BATTLECRUISER II Super Mid-Tower Chassis

XPG has today released their latest PC case, the BATTLECRUISER II Super Mid-Tower chassis capable of hosting some of the largest components on the market including E-ATX motherboards and provides a range of features and cooling capabilities.

XPG BATTLECRUISER II

The BATTLECRUISER II is an E-ATX case and sequel to the original BATTLECRUISER case building upon the foundation and design philosophy. It pairs both aesthetics with functionality and comes with 4 glass side panels which is arguably not something people want, especially if their cable management goes by the philosophy of cram it in, I can’t see it anyway. Compared to the first BATTLECRUISER, this case offers many requested improvements including an additional 65mm in height for better radiator spacing in the top. The interior has been revised to allow for a tool-less assembly making the overall build process much easier. The front panel now also features a USB Type-C port capable of both Gen2x1 and Gen2x2 speeds based on the motherboard used.

Cooling Support

For cooling the BATTLECRUISER II comes with four pre-installed XPG VENTO 120mm ARGB fans providing solid cooling right out of the box. In total, it is capable of fitting up to three 120mm fans in the top, up to three 120/140mm fans in the front and a single 120mm fan in the back. For Radiators, you can fit up to a 360mm in the top or 420mm in the front for good water-cooling potential.

Hardware Compatibility

Hardware compatibility is strong with room for up to E-ATX motherboards as well as a maximum cooler height of 175mm. Graphics cards aren’t an issue as without the front fans you can fit up to 395mm which is more than enough for the latest cards. For storage there is room for up to 3 2.5″ drives, and two 3.5″ drives, this can be expanded with the three additional hybrid slots capable of increasing the 2.5″ bay support to 6 or 3.5″ support to 5. Additionally, there is an included Prime Box for synchronising ARGB lighting effects that utilises one of the 2.5″ trays.

Price and Availability

The BATTLECRUISER II looks to be a solid case for those who like something flashy and with plenty of hardware potential. XPG hasn’t provided pricing nor availability however if you would like to learn more, visit XPG.com.
