The XPG Levante X looks pretty much as you would expect. I don’t mean to knock on them for using Akatek at all, as they’re really good at what they do, but really it means this cooler is largely similar to pretty much the majority of hardware on the market. What it really boils down to is how they dress it up. They’ve given it a good set of their own in-house designed 120mmf and. They’re good for operation between 600 and 2000 RPM, so they can move some serious air. However, like most AIOs, I suspect setting them to a lower RPM will be suitable for cooling performance while maintaining low noise.
The fans screw to the radiator with four long screws each, and there are anti-vibration mounts on each corner. Also, the pump is using the standard Asetek 7th Gen mounting kit, which allows you to twist-lock on either the Intel or the AMD retention bracket. From there, a simple plastic backplate, four stand-off screws, and four thumb screws hold everything in place. It’s an easy installation process and only took a few minutes to complete. There are short screws included to mount the radiator to your case too.
Of course, the whole thing features some gorgeous and vivid ARGB lighting too. You can hook it right up to your motherboard or controller of choice. However, there’s an on-cable controller included should you wish to avoid using your motherboard, software or anything like that and then you can control the lighting with a simple button press to cycle effects, colours or just turn it all off.
