XPG has been working hard for the last few years to become one of the biggest and best names in PC gaming hardware, and so far, it seems to have worked for them. Of course, XPG is really the high-end gaming-focused offshoot of Adata. it was once just a product range, but it’s not its own beast entirely. With its own branding, product ranges that cover everything from laptops to power supplies, and even its own mascot. Of course, today I’m focusing on their latest CPU cooler, the XPG Levante X 240 RGB which is based on the latest Asetek Gen. 7 hardware.
XPG LEVANTE 240 Addressable RGB CPU Cooler uses Asetek’s latest cooling solution and a “thermally optimized copper plate” with features 0.15mm-thin microchannels, providing a large cooling area. This is backed up by a 240mm radiator, and a set of 120mm fans that can deliver up to 61.5 CFM. There’s RGB on the pump and fans too, which come with an on-cable ARGB controller, so really it’s ticking all the right boxes. I’m not sure how they choose the name Levante though, it sounded familiar and after a quick Google I see it’s a place in Spain, the name of the Maserati SUV, and an Italian pop singer… and of course, now this AIO too, so there you are, it’s Levante X.
