Water-cooling specialists XSPC posted some teaser photos for their upcoming GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti compatible Razor Neo waterblocks. Typical graphics card waterblocks which have a fully clear acrylic top with acetal body. In fact, most of them end up looking all the same. The XSPC Razor Neo on the other hand uses tempered glass and has a chrome plated cover. It looks quite spectactular, even without turning on the RGB LED lighting.
Razor XSPC Neo in Chrome or Black Chrome
Users can choose between Chrome or Black Chrome, which is not entirely dark but closer to gunmetal. The block fits reference GTX 1080 or GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards. Although the actual block itself is only single slot height, the pair of G1/4 connector on the side requires 2-slot thickness. The contact surface itself is fully nickel-plated, cooling not just the GPU but the VRM MOSFETs and memory as well.
Each Razor Neo package comes with the waterblock, thermal pads, thermal paste, mounting hardware and RGB LED cables. Users can use either a SATA-powered in-line controller, or connect it directly to motherboards with an RGB LED header.
