YEYIAN Gaming, a San Diego based pre-built gaming PC manufacturer, has today unveiled their new YEYIAN PC Configurator an online PC customization service for pre-built PCs allowing you to find the right PC for your games and your budget.
Pre-built PCs are generally frowned upon in the enthusiast community as they often cost more and you tend to find a lot of corner-cutting leading to unreliable PSUs or single-channel RAM configurations. All of that aside, pre-builts offer an easy and convenient solution for those who are less knowledgeable and don’t mind paying a bit extra to have all the hard work done for them which is where YEYIAN’s new PC configurator comes in. YEYIAN offers many custom Pre-Built PCs but their new configurator will make the process of finding something for you a bit easier with PC options which take your budget and desired gaming performance into account.
This configurator will suggest the best system for your budget, desired resolution and CPU platform but will also allow for configuration of the following options:
“YEYIAN PC Configurator is an ideal web service for how we want to satisfy the gamers that come to us for a pre-built desktop PC. Gamers are desperate for more freedom in building their gaming PC online. The budget gamers spend on a pre-built PC doesn’t always meet their unique needs, which can be extremely painful for the gamer and a missed opportunity for us to build the system they need. We aim to provide our customers with a personalized gaming experience that meets their budget and system requirements.” said Frank Lee, the VP of YEYIAN Gaming.
I tested out the configurator myself and personally found it a bit clunky and off as the $2,900-$4,999 budget at 1440p gave me a PC worth $1,719 and the overall options are quite limited not offering anything more than an RTX 4060 Ti, I suspect more options will come in the future.
