Zalman CNPS17X Air CPU Cooler Review

Exterior Packaging
The front of the packaging certainly goes big and bold with a strong image of the cooler, with all its ARGB lighting in action, on display. Contrasting well against the general black colouring of the box work, it seems pretty clear that Zalman really wants to grab your attention with the CNPS17X.
In terms of information, Zalman has done an excellent job in utilising pretty much all of the available space on the packaging to let you know exactly what you can expect from the CNPS17X. All of its key features are listed, as well as citing the specific motherboard sync compatibility. The only moderate downside is that due to several language localisations, the writing for the features is quite small and not particularly easy on the eye. In terms of detailed information, however, and letting you know exactly what you’re getting, Zalman has done an excellent job here.
Accessories!
As you might expect, with the only exception being a screwdriver, Zalman has provided you with everything you need to successfully install its CNPS17X cooler. In fact, when compared to most air cooler models, you might actually be a little intimidated by the number of parts you have here. Let alone the fact that no only do you get a decent amount of thermal compound that should be more than enough for 2-3 installations, but it also comes inside its own individual packaging. Trust me when I say you don’t see this often. So, yes, a lot of things going on here. Rest assured though, we will be looking into this in closer detail during the ‘installation’ part of this review.
