Zalman has just revealed their new Z11 Neo PC chassis and it’s certainly unique! The new chassis comes finished in matte black with glowing blue elements. Its design features two large air scoops at the front, which reminds me of some of the crazy gaming chassis we used to see ten years ago.
Despite its strange retro looks, the Z11 is still equipped with support for modern hardware. It features a hidden 5.25″ drive bay on the front panel thanks to a sliding shutter, a large side panel window, 8-pin EPS extension cable. There’s two hidden 5.25″ drive bays, six 3.5/2.5″ bays split over a 3+3 cage layout and the top cage is removable.
There’s room for graphics cards of up to 270mm long, with room for up to 400mm with the top hard drive cage removed. There are two 120mm fans mounts in the front, with a pair of blue LED fans pre-installed. Two more 120mm mounts in the top with one fan pre-installed, a 120mm mount in the back and another 120mm in the base; all intakes come fitted with dust filters.
No word on availability or pricing just yet, but I’m eager to see what this chassis can do. We’ve reached out to Zalman to see if they’ll send us one for a close look. Stay tuned for more details.
