During a preview event today in Japan, developer Hideo Kojima revealed his Kojima Productions studio is starting work on a Zone of Enders sequel tentatively called “Enders Project.”
A Famitsu report notes the game is in early prototype phase. Producer Ryosuke Toriyama and other staff are currently doing tests with the studio’s new Fox Engine by creating real character models and converting them into Fox Engine assets.
A report from 4Gamer says this is not a confirmation that the project will become an actual game that’s released, however.
Also at the event, Zone of the Enders HD Edition was given an October 25, 2012 release date in Japan.
