So, this is the first RTX 2080 Ti card that we’ve tested, so it’s going to come as little surprise that it’ll sit at the top of pretty much all of our benchmarks. The big questions though, is by how much? The RTX 2080 performs similar to the older GTX 1080 Ti, but the Zotac RTX 2080 Ti is in a whole new league of its own. It slaughtered our 3DMark high scores by a bigger margin than we’ve ever seen between GPU generations. Pushing up the resolution to 1440p then to 2160p didn’t take the wind out of its sails either; this one one incredibly powerful GPU!

FireStrike Ultra
Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme
The same goes for the more demanding and GPU bound Unigine benchmark, where the RTX 2080 Ti just rockets into the lead. It’s 2000 points ahead of the RTX 2080, over 3000 points ahead of the GTX 1080 Ti, and more than doubled the score of the GTX 1080! Even pushing to 4K was no issue, and for the first time, we didn’t just break the 10000 points mark, it hit close to 12000 points!
