ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Revealed?

In all the excitement in the run-up to its imminent release, it’s tough to tell whether we’ve reached peak buzz over NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080, but if it hasn’t already, then this latest reveal is sure to push it over the edge. While ZOTAC was publicising the release of its new AMP! And AMP! Extreme editions of the GTX 1080, it accidentally posted an image that may point to a future iteration of the GTX 1080 Ti.
The image, posted to the ZOTAC website (via VideoCardz), shows a FireStorm utility screenshot for a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti which, so far, has not been officially confirmed:
ZOTAC swiftly edited the image, changing the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti to read GeForce GTX 1080:
The latest rumours concerning the GTX 1080 Ti suggest that it would feature GP102, which is the mid-point between Big Pascal GP100 and the so-called Mid-Pascal GP104.
On the face of it, it seems to be merely a typo on ZOTAC’s part, so doesn’t necessarily mean that the GTX 1080 Ti is on its way, but who are we to put reason in the face of excitement? Is this an honest mistake, or did someone at ZOTAC accidentally leak its GTX 1080 Ti reveal? Are we in for a pleasant surprise at Computex, which starts this Tuesday?
