3DMark Firestrike

The Zotac Magnus ER51070 Zbox gives very solid performance figures in the 3D mark testing. While the Ryzen 5 1400 is not a notably high specification processor, it still manages to get in conjunction with the Nvidia 1070 some very impressive results.

Unigine Superposition 1080p Extreme

In the GPU bound score, the system scored a highly respectable 3,458. Only just being pipped by the ASUS Zephrus the Nvidia 1070 with its 8GB of VRAM certainly showed it power and performance here.

PCMark 10

Scoring 4,042 I must confess that it’s a higher figure than I had anticipated. In the benchmarking comparisons, the Ryzen 5 1400 is performing only slightly under par to that seen in Intel i7 7700’s processors. Again, the Ryzen 5 1400 isn’t even a particularly high-specification processor in comparison and as such, the results are surprising, but pleasantly so.

WPrime

Using the Ryzen 1400 paired up with a set of Corsair DDR4 memory the Zotac managed a pretty impressive score on WPrime. Perhaps the most surprising aspect, however, was that for such a small build, the noise levels were very quiet. When you consider the load that WPrime puts on the CPU, this was definitely a testament to the design and airflow of the system.

Cinebench R15

The Ryzen 5 1400 processor does struggle a little in comparison to others when it comes to the Cinebench scoring. Despite this, however, it does still manage to hold its own in comparison to more powerful rivals.

Handbrake MP4 to MKV Conversion 4K

The Zotac Magnus ER51070 Zbox did not do too fantastically with the conversion. The Ryzen processor does struggle to handle the conversion at a fast rate and as such, if you are looking to use this system specifically for video rendering, the results are a little disappointing and in truth, lower than we were expecting.
