Zowie EC1-A Competitive Gaming Mouse Review

Performance
I had to do these tests twice just to make sure they weren’t a fluke, but I think it’s more than safe to say that the EC1-A isn’t a mouse, it’s the PC gaming equivalent of a surgeon’s scalpel! The sensor performance is smoother than smooth and to my knowledge, as good as it gets. The only things that come close are the other Zowie mice I’ve tested and the Mad Catz RAT TE with its fancy Phillips sensor. If you miss a headshot with this mouse, you’ve only yourself to blame, it’s as simple as that. There’s no acceleration and no jitter at all. The lift-off height is low, although the mouse shape doesn’t lend well to lift-off, so you’ll want to keep it firmly planted on your gaming surface.
Gaming performance is simply stunning. If you play games that don’t require a lot of macros or extra buttons, then this is the mouse for you. Counter Strike, LoL, CoD, all perfectly well suited to this mouse and the fine-tuned performance will no doubt help you hone your skills.
The new mouse is well suited to a palm rest play-style and even with the full weight of your hand on the mouse, it still glides across your gaming surface like an ice skater. The mouse is super light and the light weight cable also helps prevent the mouse from dragging.
